Best in Design™: Live at High Point Market is a new event from Loloi that gives professional interior designers the opportunity to share an exceptional project from their portfolio and take the stage at the industry’s premier market.
Four finalists will be selected to present their projects live at High Point Market’s keynote event before acclaimed designers Amber Lewis, Jeremiah Brent, and Jean Stoffer. Through a conversation led by Business of Home’s Dennis Scully, the judges will explore the vision, problem solving, transformation, and details behind each project before one designer is named the inaugural Best in Design winner.
Each finalist will receive $2,000, and the overall winner will receive an additional $10,000.

Meet the Judges
Three of the industry’s most respected designers will review the submissions and select the inaugural Best in Design winner.
Amber Lewis
Founder and principal designer of Amber Interior Design and the creative force behind Shoppe Amber Interiors.
Jeremiah Brent
Interior designer, author, and founder of the full-service design firm Jeremiah Brent Design.
Jean Stoffer
Founder of Jean Stoffer Design and a nationally recognized designer known for creating thoughtful, enduring interiors.
Hosted by Dennis Scully
Dennis Scully, host of the Business of Home podcast and editor at large for Business of Home, will lead the live conversation.
What we’re looking for.
We want to understand the thinking, creativity, and problem solving that brought your project to life. Submissions will be evaluated based on:
- Design excellence: The strength and quality of the finished environment
- Originality: A distinct point of view and creative response to the project
- Coherence: How successfully the concept carries through the space
- Execution: The level of detail, craft, and resolution in the completed work
- Transformation: How effectively the design responds to the project’s opportunities and challenges
- Storytelling: The designer’s ability to communicate the vision and process behind the project
Projects of different styles, scales, budgets, and locations are encouraged, including residential and commercial. We aren’t looking for one particular aesthetic. We’re looking for exceptional work and a story worth sharing.
Who can enter?
Best in Design is open to professional interior designers who:
- Are at least 18 years old at the time of entry
- Reside and work in the United States, Canada, or Mexico
- Submit an eligible project completed in 2025 or 2026
- Are able to travel to High Point, North Carolina, and present their project live on October 18 if selected as a finalist
Travel and accommodations are the responsibility of each finalist.
Each designer may submit one entry. Multiple designers from the same firm may enter, but the same project may only be submitted once.
