Jeremiah Brent sees a rug as a composition – a layering of material, pattern, and craftsmanship that moves through many hands before arriving at your door. His new season with Loloi celebrates those rhythms of craft, from the architects whose buildings inspire these pieces, to the designer who curates the references, to the artisans who weave the textiles with generational expertise. It’s a season with strong structural lines, tile-inspired patterns, and carved silhouettes.

Craft Is Everything.

The Aalto Collection is a beautifully subdued collection that’s hand-loomed by artisans in India who carefully carve the botanical designs that trace along the rug’s borders. This time-intensive process creates a two-level pile and a pattern with sculptural depth.

Calm, Collected.

Standouts this season include the Perret Collection, a two-level solid rug made with a hand-loomed cashmere pile, a spectacular luxury underfoot. The Tracery Collection combines a tightly woven jute base with a raised linear pattern referencing classic architectural motifs, and the hand-tufted Obelisk Collection is finished with notched corners for an art deco silhouette.

The strong lines set forth in the rugs continue in the architecturally inspired pillow collections, balanced with a few delicate surprises: ivory pillows with beautiful embroidery, reminiscent of vintage Italian linens.
